Sam Hollis

Sam is a Partner at Portas Consulting, the global strategy consultants specializing on sports and physical activity.  Based out of the Middle East, Sam leads the commercial practice and serves clients on their business and commercial challenges, including market entry, investments, partnerships, sponsorship, ticketing and major events work.

Sam has spent his career in rights holder and advisory roles in the sports industry, most recently as Commercial Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer for the 35th America's Cup. Previously Sam worked at the International Cricket Council and World Rugby, in each case focused on the structuring, packaging, marketing, sale and delivery of their respective major events portfolio. 

Sam holds a BA and MA in Law from Oxford University and trained and qualified as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
