Birgitte Nestande

Birgitte is head of sport and cultural events at Innovation Norway / Visit Norway. Visit Norway is the national event unit and coordinates the different destinations and is responsible to promote and develop Norway as a destination for future events. Visit Norway also works to develop the industry, increase competence, include the different actors within the ecosystem and create tools that benefits the event industry in Norway.

Birgitte holds a BA in Tourism and Planning from University of Westminster and worked for Norway Convention Bureau, before starting at Innovation Norway / Visit Norway in 2018.
