Paulo Ferreira

Paulo Ferreira is Director General at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) with over a decade experience in international sport landscape. Having started in the fields of biochemistry and engineering, Paulo shifted to sports management early on and now specializes in strategic sport development and implementation, stemming from his 6 years in charge of the FISU World University Championships programme. As a committed pragmatist, he is constantly looking for ways to specifically improve the organisation and the University Sport Movement at large. Paulo lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is a football fan but equally enjoys many other informal forms of sport.
