Lars Lundov

Lars Lundov has been the head of Sport Event Denmark, the national Danish sports event organization, since it was established by the Danish Government in 2008. He has led the way for his team of employees with enthusiasm and commitment all through the years.

Working in close collaboration with Danish host cities and national governing bodies, Sport Event Denmark’s objective is bidding for and hosting world class sporting events and sports congresses. Denmark is one of the leading countries in terms of hosting world class sporting events – in the top 12 globally, according to Sportcal.

Lars Lundov’s main focus is on international relations within the international sports world and Olympic Movement and bidding for major international sports events. Through his wide, global network and because of the remarkable Danish results on the market for sports events, he is requested as a speaker at international conferences/congresses.
