During this period, he:

Designed, founded, and was the first CEO of the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA). The ITIA is a first in world sport as a legally independent body safeguarding the integrity and reputation of a major world sport.

Evolved new and improved anti-corruption codes and programs for the sport and brought the global anti-doping program onto a new legal footing. Developed new data led approaches to intelligence and investigations within global data sharing frameworks.

Reset tennis’s contractual relationships with data companies and the betting industry to enhance cooperation and information sharing on integrity matters. Provided guidance and adjudication on advertising, sponsorship, and commercial relationship with the betting industry for governing bodies, rights holders, and player associations. Chaired the Tennis Rules Committee on such matters.

Enhanced tennis’s liaison and cooperation with other world sports, notably football/soccer and athletics. Provided thought-leadership to the industry on said matters.

Prior to being CEO of the ITIA, Jonny was a senior advisor to the sports sector. This included being based in the U.S. for over a decade. Jonny worked with governing bodies, major event organizing committees, investors, sponsors, broadcasters, major leagues, and others across a board range of risk and integrity matters, from complex investigations to entering and operating in new markets, to contingency planning and crisis management.
