As Senior Programme Manager, Cathy has joined Wiz-Team to lead some of their newest and most exciting major event projects bringing games management solutions and support to some of the world’s largest sporting events and organisations. Wiz-Team is the solution provider for Event and Games management software, empowering event managers with software, consultancy and delivery services for world class events for the sport, corporate and IGOs/NGOs industries.

Cathy has a diverse portfolio of multi-sport event technology experience, including Olympic and Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games and European Championships. In addition to her wealth of knowledge and insights from the sport events industry, Cathy also brings decades of experience from other industry sectors including the UK’s Department of Health, in Telecoms, Financial Services and for the Enterprise and Skills Agencies in Scotland. Cathy’s first experience of multi-sport events was in the Telecoms team for LOCOG, which was an experience she will never forget, in common with most other London 2012 alumni. Having got a taste for life in the Organising Committee she went on run the Technology Programme Office for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and later joined the leadership team for the inaugural multi-sport European Championships as Senior Technology and Broadcast Manager, responsible for delivery of core technology, results and broadcast services for the Glasgow based sports. Most recently Cathy was Head of IT Services Delivery for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, moving into a role as TOC Director during the Games themselves. Cathy now brings this experience to the supplier side, helping to deliver a first-class service to Wiz-Team’s current and future organising committee clients.
