Louise Young is the Chief Race Promotion Officer at Formula 1 having joined Formula 1 in 2018 after relocating to London from Australia.
Louise has over a decade of experience in the legal profession, and trained and qualified at top tier law firm, Ashurst Australia. In addition to her private practice experience, Louise has worked in-house for a variety of major sports properties including the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and the Sydney Invictus Games, prior to joining the Formula 1 legal team. Louise also served as a non-executive director of Triathlon Queensland.
In her current role, Louise oversees Race Promotions, which involves working with the promoters across the 24 races in 21 countries to ensure they are producing the very best fan experience, as well as liaising with the host cities and government partners to deliver the calendar. Louise’s role also strategically looks into the future at how and where the sport will race next.
