David McCrae is Vice-President & General Manager of TMS Global and has responsibility to support the project directors and their teams that deliver the various programs in TMS’ worldwide portfolio of Major Events.
David has provided project support, guidance and operational delivery for transport teams at the world’s most eminent sports events including, 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (Salt Lake City, USA), 2006 Asian Games (Doha, Qatar), 2010 FIFA World Cup (South Africa), 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games (London, UK), 2014 Commonwealth Games (Glasgow, Scotland), 2022 FIFA World Cup (Qatar), 2026 FIFA World Cup (USA/Canada/Mexico) and 2026 Commonwealth Games (Glasgow, Scotland).
Prior to his career in major event transportation, David was a high-performance athlete (volleyball) and team official, representing Team GB at Paralympic Games and Regional Championships for over 20 years. As chair of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athlete’s Committee, David also served as the Athlete representative on the IPC Executive for 2 years.
