Tony LIU is currently head of international relations department of Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA), where he is playing a leading role in international sports and culture exchanges and collaboration, as well as the promotion of the Olympic Legacy. He worded for BODA more than a decade since 2009.

From 2017 to 2023, he worked for the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. As the Head of Legacy and Games Impact, he was dedicated in Games legacy planning, governance, reporting and communication. Rich Games legacy achievements had been recognized by the IOC and international audience, and he has served as a member of IOC Sustainability and Legacy Commission from 2018 to 2021.

Prior to joining BODA, he participated in the preparation work for the Olympic Summer Games Beijing 2008 as the Deputy Chief of the Logistics Division as of 2005, and was the Secretary General of the Olympic Logistics Centre during the Games.

Armed with a dual Olympic Games working background, he has accumulated rich operational experience in Games legacy planning, governance, promotion, and communication, and he adheres to his career in leveraging the Olympic Games legacies to bring long-term benefits for people and the host cities. territories and countries.
