Jiri Kejval

Position: IOC Member and President, National Olympic Committee of Czechia

Jiri Kejval is an International Olympic Committee (IOC) Member and President of the Czech Olympic Committee, a position he has held since 2012. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of IOC Television and Marketing Services (TMS).

A former member of the Czech national rowing team and multiple-time national champion, Jiri has dedicated much of his professional life to the development of sport and the Olympic Movement. Under his leadership, the Czech Olympic Committee has strengthened its commercial programmes, athlete support initiatives and international engagement.

Within the IOC, he has also served as Chair of the IOC Revenues and Commercial Partnerships Commission and has played an active role in shaping the future of the Olympic Games, particularly in the areas of governance, commercial strategy, sustainability and long-term financial stability. His work focuses on ensuring that the Games remain relevant, affordable and attractive to host cities in an increasingly complex global environment.

Alongside his sports leadership roles, Jiri has extensive experience in business and international project development, bringing a practical perspective to discussions on major event delivery, investment and legacy.

He is a strong advocate for innovation, good governance and sustainable growth across the Olympic Movement and international sport.
