David leads Abacus Data’s team of research consultants and strategists, delivering strategic advice and research design expertise to some of Canada’s leading corporations, advocacy groups, and political leaders. He is an industry leader in online research methodologies, public affairs research, corporate and organisational reputation studies, and youth research.
An outspoken proponent of transparency in the polling industry, David is regularly called up by media and organisations to provide expert analyses of public opinion and research methodologies.
David also leads Abacus Data’s Canadian Millennial Research Practice, developed to help clients connect and engage with Canadian Millennials (those born between 1980 and 2000).
He regularly speaks and runs workshops with clients on Millennials and the impact of generation change.
David is an Adjunct Professor at the Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs at Carleton University where he teaches courses on polling and public opinion, political marketing, research methods, and designing public affairs strategies.
