Host City 2025, the global meeting of organisers, hosts and owners of sports, business and cultural events, took place at the Technology & Innovation Centre in Glasgow, Scotland on 1-3 December under the theme “Getting on with the Business of Events.” This year’s focus underscored a renewed commitment to the practicalities of hosting and delivering world-class sports, business, and cultural events.

More than 200 owners, organisers and hosts of the world’s leading events gathered in Glasgow, Scotland for Host City 2025, the 12th edition of the conference, under the theme “Get on with the Business of Events.”
Speakers from across the global event hosting ecosystem explored the practical opportunities and challenges facing major events today, with a strong focus on collaboration, new hosting models, sustainability, workforce readiness and delivering long-term social, economic and environmental impact.
