Antoine Bourdeix
Position: Director of Communications, Bureau International des Expositions (BIE)
Antoine Bourdeix joined the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in 2015 as Director of Communications after having worked for more than 15 years for one of the top 3 communications groups.
Prior to joining the BIE, Antoine Bourdeix worked in the management and communications of several high-profile events including World Expo 2010 Shanghai. His experience with World Expos also includes the successful bids for Shanghai Expo 2010, Yeosu Expo 2012 and Dubai Expo 2020.
The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) is the intergovernmental organisation in charge of overseeing the calendar, the bidding, the selection, and the organisation of World and Specialised Expos. The BIE provides the regulatory framework for these prestigious global events, in which countries, international organisations, civil society groups, corporations, and citizens participate.
A graduate of the “Institut d’Etudes Politiques” in France, Antoine earned a postgraduate degree in Political Science in the Netherlands and a second postgraduate degree in France.
