Bruno Marie-Rose

Position: Chief Information and Technology Officer, Paris 2024 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games

Former French Olympic Medallist in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and holder of World Records in Athletics sprint and relay events.

Bruno has more than 20 years of experience in the management of Information Systems, with strong contribution to the innovation and the digital transformation in Sport and Business domains.

President of the National Athletics League for 9 years in parallel to its IT career, Bruno was involved in the organisation of international sports competitions for more than 10 years.

In 2003, he was CITO for the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Paris, then consultant for the organization of the 2007 IRB Rugby World Cup.

Graduate from INSA Lyon in parallel to its sport career, he started to work as a development engineer, project manager and evolved as IT program director.

He then served executive functions in IT consulting companies, before joining the Investment Banking industry with managing roles in IS Architecture and Projects area.

After mentoring Sport Tech companies for their development and advising Sports institutions for their digital transformation, Bruno has been appointed CITO of the Paris 2024 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Bruno is driven to leverage on the experience from its sport career to apply to the day-to-day management activities. Aim for collective performances as a Team, as well as develop individuals, with values inherited from Sport such as sense of sharing and sense of result.
