Host City 2018 determines “The Future of Major Events” in Scotland.
Record attendance and a forward-thinking agenda in Glasgow, 20-21 November 2018

The annual conference and exhibition brought together international sports federations, cultural events, large scale exhibitions and organising committees from around the world for two days of unrivaled insight, networking and business.

Speakers and attendees debated the biggest issues the major events sector faces right now and how will these impact its future; the rise of esports and new forms of fan engagement; how to provide the best conditions for host cities to succeed; what the sporting events sector can learn from cultural and business event hosting; security at major events; futureproof venues; city mobility and infrastructure and much more.
