Jooho Kim
Position: Executive Vice President of Games Planning and Communications, PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
Jooho Kim has board experience in integrated marketing communications including public relations, sports marketing and event management. He has worked for Cheil for 27 years, where he was responsible for Samsung’s international PR activities and led Samsung Olympic Sponsorship Projects.
He participated in number of government projects including Seoul G20 Summit, Presidential Inauguration Ceremony and Han River Festival. He led the Cheil Team in the successful bid for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.
Mr. Kim served an adjunct professor at Hankook University of Foreign Studies, Sookmyung Women’s University and Sogang University. He authored the books “The Winning PR that Drives to Success”, “The Power of Public Relations” and “Global 10 Mega Sports Event and Sponsorship”.
Mr. Kim was awarded the “Order of Sport Merit” by President of the Republic of Korea in 2012, the Gold Medal by New York Festivals in 2012 and the Gold Medal by Korea Public Relations Association in 2016.
